autumn comes and the leaves turn brown
ashes come and we all fall down
i wish i could find a way
to hold the day
captive to the words you say
you know that it's not easy
to lift these feelings up off the ground
and when i seem so distant
i feel Your insistent love surround me
under the waterfall
i'm finally letting down my walls
under the waterfall
all my burdens feel so small
thunder comes and the sky turns grey
evidence of the world astray
sometimes it holds me down
with my eyes to the ground
to never see the light of day
sometimes i feel lke running away
on the greyest of days and the darkest of nights
yet you replace my sorrow
with a hope of tomorrow
and the coming of light
and if the only way to You was down
i'd willingly drown to find you there
Your whispering grace
the tears on your face
filling this sea of forgiveness
