I've been living too long in the shadow of society.
No hope - wage slave - portrait of conformity.
And I assure the bondage of humanity,
when i insure (through slavery) that I can eat.
Through this we defend the system,
while the system institutionizes our demise.
Through this we defend the system,
while generations wither away and die.
We're leaving our children
a dying world and a legacy of destruction.
Born into defacto bondage,
will they conform to insure self preservation?
We've trapped ourselves in this cage called society.
Reduced our lives to labor as commodity.
And we assure the bondage of humanity.
We must escape it's impending self destruction.
Why do we defend the system,
while the system institutionalizes our demise?
